Happy 2014, WG2E Authors!!!

We’ve got an exciting new opportunity for all of you WG2E Street Team Members…

We’ve just launched our brand new WG2E Beta and Review Club!!!

WG2E Street Team Members…C’mon over and join us and bring 5 to 10 of your most enthusiastic readers and fans with you!!!

***Note: Just like the Street Team, our new Beta Review Club is NOT a community where you join just to Spam fellow authors to promote your books. Both communities are set up in the spirit of the WG2E, which is all about sharing information for all-things epublishing and hybrid publishing.

Our goal is to create a wonderful group of active beta readers and book reviewers across all genres. To do that, we’ve developed a fabulous online community where WG2E Authors can list the books they’d like to be beta read and/or reviewed, community members can then sign-up for the books they’d like to beta read and/or review, and you (the author) send them the file in the format they need.

All of the information you need is listed in the Files Section in the new group. So head on over and join, invite your best readers and reviewers and have fun!!!

Also…here’s a fabulous announcement (for readers) that you can post on your own websites and blogs and then link to in all of your fave social media hang-outs:

Do you enjoy getting the first peek at new books? Do you read with a critical eye? We have the perfect place for you!

The WG2E Street Team has a new group for beta readers and reviewers, where authors and readers can come together to help each other.

What’s the difference between a beta reader and a reviewer?

A beta reader reads a book that is still a work-in-progress and provides feedback to the author in order to make the book the best it can be. They are not reviewing the work publicly. All thoughts on the book go directly to the author. The book they read is not the finished product.

A reviewer reads a completed book either right before it’s published or shortly after and leaves their opinion of the book on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, iTunes, etc. to help other readers make a decision on whether to read the book.

Beta readers are not reviewers and vice versa, though you can do both for different books (or if you re-read the book in its completed form).

Let’s have a little fun!

Once every three months, all authors who used beta readers or reviewers will contribute to the pot and a gift card will be given to one random beta reader or reviewer.

Want to find new authors and help out those you love? Head on over to the WG2E Beta/Review Club and request to join.

P.S. You must be an active member of our Street Team to also participate in our Beta Review Club.
